The last few months of the year really flew by! We have been busy with so may different projects that our webmaster has been hounding us for some updates! So here it goes:
University of Rochester – audio digitizing – guy working on research on Richard Pryor, collection had interviews with people who worked with Pryor, like Bill Cosby. We converted it for the researcher.
We just got Avid Media Composer 5! Which meant, of course, we also now have Snow Leopard. Gotta love upgrades!
The Kodak Colorama: The Stories Behind the Pictures, aired Monday, September 13 at 8 p.m. on WXXI-TV (DT21.1/cable 1011 and 11). New Colorama footage. Hint: The Rockettes! Extra footage is included in the DVD premium. Be sure to check out our Colorama facebook page: http://facebook.com/coloramatv
Got a GREAT thank you note from Fiona Willis for freelance work: “As events go, there were glitches and surprises when we got to the venue, but fortunately the dream team was at my side. Jeffrey Beach and Andrew Croucher, along with freelancers Mike Champlin and Brian Steblen (from DeBergerac Productions), fixed it all! Everything was flawless. We had put months of work into this presentation, but it was the few hours yesterday that made it all come together… thanks…” – You’re welcome!
Mid Town Athletic Club – Father’s day event was sent to the corporate office & they loved what we did.

ABVI Shoot – “Thank You, Tom Golisano” Rush!!
Reckitt Benkiser – We travel with Cheshire AV to Chester, NJ to pitch a documentary idea to the French’s Food Division. Combining our skills as story tellers and preservationisits, we want to collect, restore and assemble a history of the French’s Foods Brands including Frank’s RedHot, Cattlemen’s BBQ sauces, and of course, the famous French’s Mustard.
WEG Electric Corp. -2010
SONY EX3 Workshop at Abel Cine in NYC – got the EX3 wide adapter lens, Zeiss close up lens, portable greenscreen, and the Shot Shifter-essentially a mini dolly that sits on top of a tripod head. Awesome.
Reckitt Benkiser greenlights the project. We plan to shoot their manufacturing plant in Springfield, Missouri. We are going to add a little interest to the shoot by introducing an 18í jib arm into the mix. The footage will be unlike anything they have ever seen before!
Shooting in Springfield went very well – certainly a city we won’t go hungry in – there are so many restaurants there! Day 2 of shooting brings some stress: the Mac Book Pro can’t boot from its hard drive. You’d think we would be dead! After some anxious moments (and a visit to Best Buy), we had our MBP running on Snow Leopard.
When we get back, our landlord approached us with opportunity-to move into bigger place. Can this really be happening? Are we really growing that fast??
EstroFest Comedy show videos
Vitazene in Vietnam
Reckitt Benkiser changes the direction of an introductory video for their sales meeting. Originally, it was to be based on the historic work we were assembling. As the meeting’s agenda and scope changed, so did the message of the video. We had less than a month to assemble it! Our contact in New Jersey sent us product to shoot. One of EVERYTHING – DeBergerac is now a mini French’s warehouse!
DeBergerac Productions starts looking for freelancers. Call Mike or Brian.

We signed a new lease – we are moving into a new 1,200 ft facility in the same building as our current place!
